Some things seem so achingly obvious that you can’t imagine how anyone could misinterpret them. Then again, some people need constant reminders of what, to you, seems crystal clear, absolutely elementary, as obvious as a pebble in your shoe. Maybe they don’t want to share in your version of reality, meet your expectations, or be what you want them to be. Maybe your vision is cloudy, obscured by your own feelings, your wants. That’s okay, though. Maybe it’s theirs that’s askew. It cuts both ways. Your vision, from your heart, are all you have until someone offers their feelings to you.
Don’t hold back.
Don’t pull up short.
Don’t stop trying.
